South Dakota landed two $10,000 Powerball winners and one $5,001 Wild Card 2 winner in the August 15, 2012 lotto drawings.
The two lucky Powerball tickets were sold in Madison and Sioux Falls. The odds of winning the game's $10,000 third prize are 1:648,976. Winning numbers are 6, 27, 46, 51 and 56, and the Powerball is 21.
The $5,001 Wild Card 2 ticket was purchased in Wagner. Winning numbers are 6, 14, 26, 27 and 28; the Wild Card is the Ace of Spades. The odds of winning $5,000 playing Wild Card 2 are 1:90,619.
All three winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe place before contacting the Pierre Lottery office at 605-773-5770, the Rapid City Lottery office at 605-394-5106 or the Sioux Falls Lottery office at 605-367-5840. Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.
