Gary Coy of Oklahoma City, OK on October 23, 2012 claimed his $5,000 Wild Card 2 prize from the September 12, 2012 drawing. Coy hit the game's second prize by matching five of five white ball numbers but missing the Wild Card. The odds of winning $5,000 playing Wild Card 2 are 1:90,619.

Coy, a truck driver, purchased his lucky ticket at the Coffee Cup Fuel Stop on Highway 385 in Hot Springs during a trip to South Dakota in early September. The store will receive a $500 bonus for the sale. He finally claimed his prize, coincidentally on his birthday, during a return visit to the state.

Wild Card 2 is played only in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. The jackpot currently sits at $200,000 for the next drawing on Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
